Our Activities in 2006
VONG Project
Voice of A Nigerian Girl (VONG) was selected as a Best Project on HIV/AIDS at the 16th AIDS International conference Toronto, Canada 2006.
- Rehearsals for 44 primary schools and secondary schools in Anambra ,Ebonyi and Enugu States by professionals and refreshments for the girls (8 – 18 years) in preparation for the Inauguration of the First part of the VONG PROJECT.
- Exhibited 306 visual works, performing Art – (Dance, Drama, and Song) with expressions on the view of the Nigeria girl to the happenings in her society and the environment ranging from her education to health and hygiene.
- It also showcases their abilities and gives them a sense of importance.
- A magazine on the VONG phase1 was produced.
